Elektronininių cigarečių rūkymo paplitimo tarp paauglių valdymas ir prevencija – Šilutės rajono mokyklų atvejis

Darbo problema – elektroninių cigarečių rūkymo paplitimo tarp paauglių Šilutės rajono mokyklose valdymo ir prevencijos būdų neefektyvumas. Tyrimo tikslas – ištirti Šilutės mokyklų priimamų elektroninių cigarečių rūkymo paplitimo tarp jaunuolių valdymo ir prevencijos tobulinimo sprendimų galimą naudą bei efektyvumą. Tyrimo metodika. Siekiant įvertinti ,,Elektroninių cigarečių rūkymo paplitimo tarp paauglių Šilutės rajono mokyklose valdymą ir prevenciją” buvo taikomi du tyrimo metodai: kokybinis (pusiau struktūruotas interviu su 6-ių Šilutės rajono mokyklų administracijos darbuotojais) ir kiekybinis (anketinė apklausa su Šilutės rajono mokyklose dirbančiais mokytojais). Tyrimo rezultatai, išvados ir siūlymai: Tyrimo metu buvo nustatyta, kad tirtose mokyklose dažniausiai taikomi įspėjimai, jog atsinešti į mokyklą, rūkyti mokykloje ir mokyklos teritorijoje draudžiama. Atlikus respondentų pritarimo vertinimą dėl Lietuvoje nuo 2022 metų liepos mėnesį priimto draudimo prekiauti elektroninėmis cigaretėmis su įvairiais skoniais ir kvapais, didžioji dalis respondentų pažymėjo, kad taip, pritaria šiam sprendimui bei mano, kad šis sprendimas turėjo įtakos elektroninių cigarečių vartojimo tarp mokinių sumažėjimui. Atskleidus Šilutės 6-ių mokyklų administracijos darbuotojų ir mokytojų siūlymus bei numatomus sprendimus, skirtus pagerinti jų ugdymo įstaigose taikomus elektroninių cigarečių vartojimo paplitimo tendencijų valdymo ir prevencijos būdus: mokykla turi šviesti mokinius apie elektroninių cigarečių rūkymo neigiamą įtaką sveikatai ir stengtis keisti mokinių elgesį skatinant juos dalyvauti sporto bei laisvalaikio veikloje; mokykla turi tobulinti taikomas cigarečių rūkymo prevencijos programas.
Problem – is the ineffectiveness of methods of managing and preventing the prevalence of electronic cigarette smoking in schools of Šilute district. Purpose - is to investigate the potential benefits and effectiveness of the solutions for improving the management and prevention of the prevalence of e-cigarette smoking in schools in Silute. Methodology. In order to evaluate ,,Management and prevention of the spread of electronic cigarette smoking teenagers in Silute district schools”, two research methods were applied: qualitative (semi-structured interview with administrative staff of 6 Šilute district schools) and quantitative (questionnaire survey with teachers working in Šilute district schools) . Research results, conclusions and suggestions: During the research, it was found that the investigated schools usually apply warnings that it is forbidden to bring to school, to smoke in the school and on the school territory. After assessing respondents approval of the ban on the sale of electronic cigarettes with various flavors and scents adopted in Lithuania from July 2022, the majority of respondents noted that yes, they agree with this decision and believe that this decision had an impact on the decrease in the use of electronic cigarettes in students. After disclosing the suggestions and expected solutions of the administrative staff and teachers of Šilute 6 schools, aimed at improving the methods of managing and preventing the spread of electronic cigarette consumption trends applied in their educational institutions: the school must educate students about the negative health effects of electronic cigarette smoking and try to change the behavior of students by encouraging them to participate in sports and leisure activities; the school must improve the applied cigarette smoking prevention programs.
