Slaugytojų profesinių kompetencijų sąsajos su profesijos įvaizdžiu

Slaugytojas yra svarbus sveikatos priežiūros specialistas, tačiau slaugytojo, dirbančio su pacientais, kompetencijų sąsajos su profesijos įvaizdžiu – tai vis dar nauja ir Lietuvoje mažai nagrinėta tema. Darbo tikslas. Išanalizuoti slaugytojų profesinių kompetencijų sąsajas su profesijos įvaizdžiu. Tyrimo metodika. Atliktas kiekybinis tyrimas – anketinė apklausa apklausa.lt. Naudotas instrumentas – anketa. Anketiniai duomenys buvo apdoroti ir analizuojami naudojant statistinį duomenų kaupimo ir analizės paketus SPSS for Windows 21.0 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) ir Microsoft Excel. Imtį sudarė: 386 slaugytojai. Tyrimas atliktas laikantis etikos principų. Tyrimo rezultatai. Tyrime, vertinant slaugytojų pažiūrį į profesijos kompetencijas išaiškėjo, jog slaugytojai visas kompetencijas laiko svarbiomis. Tyrimo rezultatai parodė, jog profesijos kompetencijų vertinimas priklausė nuo kai kurių sociodemografinių rodiklių. Vyrai blogiau vertino reikalingumą išmanyti slaugos procesą, bendravimą su pacientais ir kolegomis, profesinės atsakomybės prisiėmimą, norą kad pacientas pasveiktų, lyginant su moterimis. Analizuojant kompetencijų teiginių vertinimus tarp skirtingo išsilavinimo slaugytojų nustatyta, kad vadybinių gebėjimų svarbos, slaugos plano sudarymo įgūdžių, mokslo įrodymais grįstos slaugos praktikos taikymo ir slaugos protokolų laikymosi įgūdžių vertinimas, susijęs su aukštesniu išsilavinimu. Vertinant slaugytojų nuomonę apie profesijos įvaizdį, daugumos tyrime visų dalyvavusių slaugytojų nuomone slaugos profesija yra pašaukimas, tai svarbi ir reikalinga profesija su svarbiomis ir didelėmis atsakomybėmis ir aukštais kvalifikacijos reikalavimais, tačiau slauga yra fiziškai sunkus ir prastai apmokamas darbas. Išvada. Analizuojant slaugytojų profesinių kompetencijų sąsajas su profesijos įvaizdžiu, rezultatai parodė, kad visos kompetencijos yra reikšmingos ir yra glaudžiai susijusios su profesijos prestižu.
A nurse is an important health care specialist, but the relationship between the competences of a nurse working with patients and the image of the profession is still a new and little-studied topic in Lithuania. The aim of this research – to analyze the connections of nurses' professional competences with the image of the profession. Research methodology. Quantitative research was carried out - a questionnaire survey on apklausa.lt. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Questionnaire data were processed and analyzed using statistical data collection and analysis packages SPSS for Windows 21.0 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) and Microsoft Excel. The sample consisted of: 386 nurses. The research was conducted in accordance with ethical principles. Results of the research. In the study when assessing nurses' view of professional competencies it became clear that nurses consider all competencies to be important. The results of the study showed that the assessment of professional competences depended on some sociodemographic indicators. Men had a worse assessment of the need to know the nursing process, communication with patients and colleagues, assuming professional responsibility, and the desire for the patient to recover, compared to women. Analyzing the evaluations of competency statements among nurses with different educations, it was found that the assessment of the importance of managerial abilities, skills of creating a nursing plan, the application of scientific evidence-based nursing practice and the skills of following nursing protocols is related to higher education. When assessing the opinion of nurses about the image of the profession, in the opinion of the majority of all nurses who participated in the study, the nursing profession is a vocation, it is an important and necessary profession with important and high responsibilities and high qualification requirements but nursing is a physically demanding and poorly paid job. Conclusion. Analyzing the links between professional competencies of nurses and the image of the profession, the results showed that all competencies are significant and are closely related to the prestige of the profession.
