Sociologija. Mintis ir veiksmas (Sociology. Thought and Action) is a peer-review interdisciplinary journal published in Lithuania and dedicated to the critical study of contemporary social and cultural changes, including the shifting status of sociology, from a variety of perspectives. It covers subjects like social theory, methodology of social research, political sociology, gender issues, nationalism, sociology of art, social stratification, social identity etc. As well, it is open for interdisciplinary debates publishing texts about social psychology, philosophy, history, political sciences and anthropology. The journal provides extensive reviews of recently published or translated sociological books.

Sociologija. Mintis ir veiksmas was established in 1997. Languages of the journal are Lithuanian and English. Nearly 15% of published texts are in English and by foreign authors. The journal follows international editorial conventions and uses Harvard citation system. It is biannual journal with the first issue in print in July and the second issue – in December each year.
