Projects
The Project Management Department (PMD) was found on 2009 as an Administrative department of the University. Department assists on implementing the key University functions, proper coordination and management of projects, financed by EU Structural Funds, according to the University's Strategic Development Plan.
PMD functions:
- Collects and stores information regarding the European Union Structural Funds financed programs, their projects financing conditions and calls for proposals
- Records developed project applications and ongoing projects at the University of Klaipeda
- Maintains the University website information related to project activities
- Provides information to the Rector and Vice-Rectors of the current and planned project activities in Klaipeda University
- Coordinates external and internal dissemination of information regarding projects activities
- Advises the University community on project proposals preparation, report writing and performance issues
- Coordinates the implementation of projects
- Controls the University’s EU Structural Fund projects monitoring, reports and advices
- Prepares other University documents related to projects activities
